What you'll be doing
You’ll be joining CIBC’s FCERT, working primarily on the Technology Triage application, enterprise wide used. As an Application Consultant, you’ll develop, implement and maintain integrated solutions that enhance the client experience.
How you'll succeed

Design and development – Perform and coordinate complicated application programming activities. Design the application's technical infrastructure using specific databases, programming languages, utilities, and testing approaches. Lead the design and development of cost-effective and innovative solutions.

Strategic planning – Develop multi-year technology roadmaps that align with the bank’s vision, strategy, and business goals. Lead multiple complicated projects involving backend systems, new technology, and the enhancement of existing applications.
Who you are
-
You have 5+ years experience in: Java 1.8, Spring MVC4, Spring AOP4, Hibernate4, Oracle, MS SQL, SQL language, jQuery, JSP, HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs and SOAP Web Services, C#, WCF Services, Integrated and JWT Authentication mechanisms, Spring Security, JUnit, batch scripting, Apache Tomcat 8, GitHub and DevOps.
