Simply put, BPTN is growing! As a start-up, we’ve experienced tremendous growth over the past few years, so it only makes sense to expand the dream team! BPTN has been in business for 3 years, and in all 3 years, it has been a profitable business. Poised to do very well this fiscal year, the business is in good shape to disrupt how the industry hires Black talent. Legacy business income streams for BPTN are BFUTR Summit and Obsidi Academy, which will remain operational and active in the marketplace.
BPTN has also heavily invested in scaling its revenue by building a SaaS business model, which is enabled by Obsidi, a global talent marketplace platform.
Key responsibilities:

Work with the CEO to develop and implement a marketing and lead generation strategy that aligns with the overall business vision, building sustainable growth and driving customer acquisition and retention at scale

Build a marketing engine that drives product-led growth, achieving B2B sales growth, market penetration and customer acquisition

Identify target market segments and develop targeted marketing campaigns to reach and engage potential customers

Manage marketing budgets and resources effectively, including the development of marketing materials and the management of external vendors and agencies

Analyze market trends and customer data to identify opportunities for growth and to inform marketing strategy

Collaborate with product, sales, and customer success teams to identify and prioritize key marketing initiatives that support overall business goals

Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, and use data to optimize and improve marketing efforts continuously.

Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals and functions consisting of content marketing, product marketing, and sales marketing/ lead-Gen, including setting goals, providing feedback and coaching, and promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Qualifications:

7+ years of marketing experience with direct responsibility for brand management, content creation, campaign strategy and launch, digital marketing, web design, and partnership with PR agencies

Strong background in building and leading product-led marketing strategy within SaaS organizations, as well as meeting quotas and outcomes-based marketing environments

Expert presentation skills and a talent for distilling complex ideas into engaging content

Track record in delivering revenue results

Ability to manage multiple and competing objectives. Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to change, ability to prioritize and juggle to meet multiple, short deadlines consistently

Demonstrated ability to perform both qualitative and quantitative research to inform recommendations, strategies, and deliverables

Experience creating content tailored to resonate with multiple buyers, stakeholders, and user groups

Experience managing internal and external teams

Proven track record of developing, leading, executing, and implementing a marketing strategy for a SaaS company

Experience working with a high-growth or scaling business has implemented a successful lead-generation marketing plan
