As our Product Analyst, you’ll be responsible for the designing and conducting user research, and identifying the best method based on research goals and resources. The analyst will be responsible for all aspects of research (planning, moderating, analysis, reporting) for both Generative (participatory design) and evaluative (usability testing) research. You will also be comfortable working with data, from gathering and analysis through to design and presentation. Everything you do will help the company meet its objective of supporting Black tech professionals by connecting them to the resources they need to succeed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with our Product Strategy, Customer Experience and Sales Department in building the strategy necessary to launch BPTN Products and services from scratch.
- Continuously monitor and report on product performance (features, UX, user flows from sign-up until Monetization, etc.) as well as market research
- Model insights gained from user research into formats to enhance organizational understanding of our users – such as personas and user journey maps.
- Work closely with designers, quality assurance and engineers to turn user data into actionable product/service requirements that feed into prototype development, and influence product direction
- Analyze and report on business related data (Daily and Monthly KPI, Payment processing, Member, Partner and Adhoc reports).
- Plan, design and conduct usability testing process from developing user recruitment through to test moderation, analysis and reporting
- Design, direct, and monitor products and product features with emphasis on user acquisition and retention
- Conduct research to gather insights for new products and features, and concept developments
- Present findings and related design/business recommendations and customer insights to the product team
EDUCATION
- Bachelor or Diploma in information technology, Computer Science or another related field.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Business Analysis, Digital Marketing or Project Management, showing proven results
- Excel, Google Analytics, SQL and Mixpanel experience in order to run queries as well as the ability to deeply analyze such data
- Website analytics and understanding of user behavior (visitors, regions, click maps, etc.)
- Ability to design, facilitate and analyze a wide range of qualitative and quantitative user research methods
- Ability to interpret user needs for web content, tools and platform services, especially with complex user journeys
- Ability to Identify product marketing ideas and opportunities based on industry trends, current market environment and competitive trends.
- Excellent understanding of SDLC, software architecture, and modern product methodologies (Lean, HCD, etc.) honed through countless product releases.
