Our client is looking for an Analytics Lead who will be in charge of providing business insights to accelerate the company’s data-driven decision making.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Analytic Advisor: Partner with Client Strategy Leaders, such as those over Client Management and Implementation, to deeply learn their segments of the business and the data behind them.
- Execute on analytic requests for support, and proactively surface your own recommendations and insights.
- Identify growth opportunities, evaluate their potential impacts, and assess the level of effort needed to implement each initiative in order to grow our business, improve operational efficiency, or create new product offerings.
- Storyteller: Structure and deliver concise, data driven narratives in order to drive our priorities by translating data into compelling stories.
- Build analytical frameworks, analyze complex data, and visualize key business insights across different functions and leadership levels.
- Business Forecaster: Contribute to the design and ongoing maintenance of forecasts for key business metrics like revenue, client launches and retention.
- Analytics Leader: Assist the Director of Analytics in establishing a culture of transparency, cooperation, and psychological safety. Your ideas on team structure, relationship management, analytic approaches, and delivery models are welcomed and encouraged!
- You will serve as a mentor on the team with the potential for people management in the future.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a quantitative field like Economics, Finance, Data Science
- 5+ years of progressive, multi-functional experience in business analytics (product, marketing, operations, financial modeling, etc.)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets required
- Proficiency in SQL or Python (ability to write code) strongly preferred
- Proficiency in data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Looker strongly preferred
- A quick learner that enjoys tackling open-ended problems
- Self-starter who is able to be hands-on and can analyze, interpret and derive insights into business reports, analytic models, and data sources
- An excellent and structured verbal and written communicator
- Thrive in a fast paced, innovative work environment
- Energized by trying new things, and enjoy making an impact

- Remote – United States
